Three years ago, and after several severe fragment removal accidents, we had the idea to develop a device for mastering complicated cases. In areas where ultrasonic procedures reaches its limits, a particular substance preserving is required and fragments cannot be left, the wire loop technique appeared to us as a suitable alternative. A particularly thin wire is guided through a cannula twice to form a loop at its end.
It is then looped around a fragment, and by tightening the wire said fragment can be extracted. To implement this method with a dental microscope, you would need a third hand at your disposal. You don‘t have that.
Therefore we designed various prototypes and experimented with different types of wires and cannulas.
By now we have developed a prototype that is ready for production, easy to handle, combinable with several wires and cannulas and has already been successfully tested by multiple endodontists.
Benefit: You can use any cannula with Luer fitting or purchase cannulas from us at any time.
Wire will be supplied in following
- diameters: 0.075 mm
- 0.1 mm
- 0.15 mm
- 0.2 mm
