Symbios® bifasisch bottransplantaatmateriaal, is een bottransplantaatmateriaal afkomstig uit de natuur. Dit op korrels gebaseerde bottransplantaatmateriaal is afkomstig van rode zeealgen. De samenstelling is speciaal samengesteld om snel om te keren als er nieuw
bot ontstaat op de transplantaatplaats. Symbios Biphasic BGM is een samenstelling van 20% hydroxyapatiet (HA) – voor ruimtebehoud en langzame resorptie en 80% Beta-tricalciumfosfaat (β-TCP) voor snellere resorptie.
