Perfect partnership: LuxaCore is the optimal adhesive luting cement for the fiberglass-enforced composite root post. Its flexural modulus is not only very similar to that of LuxaCore but also to that of the natural dentine, thus minimizing tension peaks in the sensitive post cement root system and the risk of root fractures. The adhesive cementation provides a secure bond, and in addition, small grooves in the top of the LuxaPost enhance mechanical retention.


Through the exceptionally high X-ray opacity (375 % aluminum equivalent), a better visibility on the X-ray image is achieved, allowing for a more secure and precise work on the tooth.


The tapered form of LuxaPost is modeled after the tooth root and allows for a treatment particularly gentle on the hard tissue. That the definitive restoration not only holds and fits perfectly but looks good as well is contributed by the post’s transparency. Great when a challenge is so systematically tackled at the root.
