The soft tissue punch or mucosal punch for soft tissues is an instrument, which is used to precisely incise the mucosal edge around the diameter of the implant. Omnia offers scalpels with 3 different diameters; the three sizes allow easier fitting to the main implants available for sale. The disposable circular scalpel causes less mucosal trauma than traditional scalpels, since the incision is limited to the dimensions of the implant cap.
